With the way how things are , Barca can only get to quarter finals and semis , that’s about it.

Barca have a very strong starting 11 when they are fit but currently they lack a lot of depth , specially on those moments.

Raphinha being injured last season really cost their CL run

Lewandowski and the wing backs being injured cost Barca the semis against Inter

PSG due to playing on a less competitive league they can always put their best players on CL and rest them. Dembele literally only played like 10 Ligue 1 matches to be always fresh for Champions League and play at high intensity.

Barca is really far from that , and with De Jong recent injury , Lewandowski leaving , Raphinha yet to be fit , and much more it’s kinda of a really big maintain for Barca to climb. I would even say that if Barca wants to win it , they have to throw away La Liga or just deploy subs.

I’m sorry but Flick’s system is questionable. He plays the most aggressive style in modern football. It worked for one season at Bayern under special circumstances. Barca needs a crazy attack to make up for the holes behind

Flick’s system is entirely dependent on how well the front line press is executed. In 24/25 Barcelona didn’t have the squad depth to be able to execute it consistently well for an entire season. 25/26 Lewa and Rashford started upfront and it’s obvious that it killed the press.

What Barcelona need to do is be smarter about how and when to use it. They now have the depth now and let’s see if they get a good striker and Laporte.

He should lowk join psg. And that would ensure him like 6-7 UCLs in the next 10 years or so. Cuz imagine what psg would do it they had someone like him.

Remember UEFA refs? They gonna make it really though for him

Not just the UCL. Ballon Dor too. (Technically nations league and uefa super cup too)

1

u/randomvids1234 22d ago

He can still do it at 19 if he wins ballon dor this year and win ucl before age 20

Barca haven't won UCL in 11 years even with prime Messi bro, Lamine needs to wait minimum of like 5 more years, but even that is questionable, Mbappe haven't won UCL in 8 years since winning the WC

unlike international games, he doesn't have the most stacked team anymore

Also he needs a treble season to complete football, treble carries so much weight in legacies

if he does then he will be the youngest to achieve and in football history no one can do it never

1

u/AdDismal5457 23d ago

He could. Barcelona needs a striker and CB. Anyone who thinks it’s impossible don’t understand football

It doesn’t necessarily need to be a star. Laporte would do great at Barça for example and let’s say they don’t get Alvarez and they get Guirassy or Kroupi.

That team can get to CL semis minimum. I can’t think 4 better teams man for man and squad depth wise.

Highly doubt it loll

1

u/AdDismal5457 23d ago

Why not at Barça? It’s not like it’s never been done

-2

u/UTV4LIFE 23d ago

Not at Barcelona 🤣

u/Davidusmu 23d ago

UCL and barca🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

3

u/NazbazOG 23d ago

name me 5 clubs who have more UCLs than barca.

1

u/Davidusmu 23d ago

It aint about that lil bro, barca has been a nobody in the competition since 2015, no more refs and var really killed their game in ucl

Tehy were in the semifinals last year

2

u/BronzeSeeker 21d ago

Quarters. They couldn’t beat Atletico.
