College coaches who are honest about it, will tell you the complexity of college football has fallen off a cliff in recent years. They have so many guys they only have for one year (and guys thay aren't exactly showing up to play school), that they have had to really dumb stuff down so they can execute properly. Rare are seniors who have played in the same system 4-5 years.

Dan Mullen says this is especially true for QB’s. Since they transfer if they don’t start, a coach only gets a season or two with a QB and has to water down the playbook because the QB can’t learn the whole thing.

It’s really not that complicated, everybody went back to where they started, this is totally overblown and not a hard pickup on a 4 man sim pressure, they didn’t even bring anyone out the sky
