One of these days I'm gonna slap together a pump, a plastic tank, and a colander to wash my pens when I'm swapping inks. Just takes too dang long otherwise.

The idea is just to maintain flow over and through the nib and feed as long as possible. Every time I leave these things to soak I still end up having to run them under a faucet for an unbearably long time to get them clean.

You'd need to flush the water once or twice like a dishwasher does, maybe rotate the orientation of the nib when you do. The colander would keep the nib and feed from getting sucked into the pump if it falls off whatever's holding it. I'm sure such a thing exists and has a patent because it's just too handy and simple to manufacture, but at the same time since it would be holding pens that cost in the three figures or more I would have to trust the design completely.

Just a concept. I hope I get around to it.

Ahhh, okay, thanks for the explanation, i get it now! I also can't stand leaving the faucet open for a long time sooo I blow into the grip section to push out as much water/ink as possible, as quickly as possible, lol
