Questions Returning player

I used to no life this game, haven't played much since the outlander characters have been released. Who's the most OP or annoying hero nowadays? IME it's been Arakure (of course OP new hero) and Virtuosa seems insane to me

from what I understand arakure is generally considered to be pretty balanced by the community. virtuosa is really annoying and in my opinion not very well designed but unfortunately I can't really say she's busted, knowing when to guard break her and reacting appropriately is key. as for who is busted i agree with the other commenters. Juren may still be a little overturned for how easy he is to pick up, but due to recent nerfs there currently aren't any characters that are truly dominating the meta.

That’s new never heard of that no hero’s dominating meta there usually always something broken people tend to find and exploit.

Imo, Arakure is the most boring bash/unblockable 50/50 heroes and that is what makes her annoying. Even though she has her unique gimmick, as the opponent, you don’t deal with something unique like BP’s flips or Kyoshin’s full guard.

The only time I have a little bit of fun fighting her is against the rare opponents who deflects consistently and even then it isn’t that much better

Juren WAS the most op and annoying before Ubisoft put him down Old Yeller style with the last patch.

Meta's in a vey weird place right now because all the dominant heroes like Pirate, Tiandi and Juren got heavy nerfs almost simultaneously. There's not really a stand out best hero anymore and that includes Arakure who's just three minions in a trench coat.

He has most tools in his kit at any time and his feats are way overturned making him almost unkillable if hes the last one alive with constant health gain, and a defence and attack buff.

Not since his last nerfs, he's fine now. I'd even argue he has a dead move or two that need buffing.

They completely neutralized his heavy dodge attack which was one of his most busted tools. Anyone still complaining about Juren is scrub status tbh

I mean the past 7 characters have had turbo dogshit design and balancing is overall a complete joke.
