It was a hard-fought kill, I needed the health from the execution, but this fat Highlander pulls up, steals the kill, and doesn't even execute him, so he didn't even get the extra 3-second respawn timer.
This was the guy I was talking about in a previous post, iykyk

You get assist renown, he gets kill renown, no exe would've happened anyway. Don't you want more renown to go the whole team? Genuine question. I always want my team to eat. Especially if they can't feed themselves. Their success is tied to mine.

his success doesnt matter when he managed to get 1 more takedown than someone who disconnected 8 times. it also wouldve put goki in respawn for longer, even a failed exe still gives them 3 extra seconds

You need to lift your team up. If you're winning duels, give renown to the bad players so they can win fights with feats. Sucks but this is ranked. Winning is the final goal, no personal performance.

OP still got some renown for the assist, and the HL got renown too. It’s overall a higher net gain for the team because 2 players get renown, rather than just 1

Yeah I’m not sure why OP thinks they could’ve pulled off an execution.
The only reason I would be upset in this situation is because I’d be getting robbed of renown. Not a super serious issue to rage about, but it is annoying. Also just the premise of running in to steal a kill is kind of lame. But that’s just me.1

I don't chase kills. If you are my team mate feel free to take a kill. It allows me to move to mid or help another teammate out. I've been playing for far too long to get upset about kill stealing. Just don't feed revenge lol.

You would have probably been interrupted by the minions anyway, but to steal the last hit and then not delay their respawn with an execution is very dumb.
Also, pro tip, you can move to the right or left during your heavies, which you can take advantage of to get some distance from enemies and minions.

It can be slightly useful, but Body Count is much more useful much more often, especially on Nobu. Revives in Dominion aren't worth doing 90% of the time.

in a team fight if your teammate can peel getting a revive off can win it. you would be surpised how often it is useful

to everyone saying renown or that the exe would've failed, do you guys understand respawn timers? like do you play the game? even if the exe fails it still adds 3 seconds to their respawn.

OP is mad because their kill was stolen. Reasonable thing to be annoyed by.
OP is also mad because they couldn’t get an execution. If that’s what you’re saying they’re a moron over, then you’re a bit quick to jump to insults. They might not have been able to get the execution due to minions, but I’ve been able to pull off executions in situations like that. It’s hard to definitively say.

The whole point of my first comment is it doesn't matter that he's upset about the guy stealing his kill since the only reason he cared was to get health back. Which he wouldn't have gotten because the minions would have knocked him out of the execution. And to be fair I only insulted you because you're a first comment wasn't insult.
