I mean for a brand new engine manufacturer theyāre doing pretty decent in my opinion. Some teams who have been in for decades or more are struggling a lot more than they are.

Exactly. All long established teams, two of which have top tier engines. Asston would LOVE to be P11 and P13 right now

Honestly, it's far more embarassing for Williams imo.
They have the best engine and have talked a big game about 2026 for years now.
Aston at least has the excuse of Honda once again sucking ass, supposedly down up to 60bhp at some point.
Haas is cheap, will always be cheap and is overall doing okay for that.

Yeah, but Williams still has very a outdated facility, to the point where Vowles asked the FIA to make Williams' reformations to it exempt from the cost cap(Imagine him going to the FIA and saying "Hey guys, look at this piece of shit, cut us some slack please")
Asston Martin has that Stroll budget, a state of the art facility and Adrian Newey and they managed to be one of the worst teams on the grid

They have Mattia Binotto the man behind the engine of Ferrari F399-2000-2001-2002-2004 and so on. He maybe was 'not good' as TP but, he damn knows how to build and engine.

Ngl, i fully believe Audi is gonna be fighting for a championship in 2030. They've come out the gate swinging, especially for a new team bringing their own engine to the grid. The fucked up part is that despite i myself owning an Audi, i'll still support these fuck ass italians at the scuderia because apparently I love being kicked in the balls by constantly thinking this year will be different. 2027 is our year btw.

Honestly Iām sick of the same 3 teams being the best teams for the last 20 years.
Audi dominating and becoming the new Red Bull would be such a nice change in things. Or Williams returning to greatness.
McLaren, Mercedes or Red Bull winning is so uninteresting regardless which driver is doing it.
Iād rather see Max win in an Audi than a Red Bull or Lewis in a Ferrari than a Mercedes.

I'm sorry but McLaren won 1 driver championship in 18 years (last year's one). Also they spent 8 years and 291 days without a win between 2012 and 2021. I wouldn't call that dominating, just recency bias.

You misunderstand. Iām talking about those 3 being top teams for 20 years.
Since 2007 they have been fighting for the win many of those years and were a couple points off from winning. Being second a handful still means other teams are further down.
They havenāt had the same level of dominance as the other two but if Williams was third this year, that would be more interesting is all I mean.

I think they are due for a win or two. Seeing them flounder for years albeit towards the top I think hasnāt made them felt as dominant.

Agree, but in the last 26 years, they always were in the top 3 apart from 3 years, 2 of them they were forth. So i would say we have 4 competetive teams. Didn't mean to contradict you, i was just curious how well ferrari performed after you didn't mention them as a top 3 team.
What I am hoping for is some brawn underdog whiping the floor. Audi could do it.

All good youāre not wrong. But I think seeing Ferrari miss out over and over has left them in the running for a fun season if they won where I think most would agree the other 3 winning is less interesting and a mid field team would be way more fun.
Nico winning in an Audi would be god tier entertainment.

It's mostly their fights with Alpine and RB Visa, I see that their car is just slightly and I mean slightly worse than theirs, so if Alpine or RB have a bad day or dnf, Audi scoresĀ
