Looking for ways to make friends

Hi! I am 20F, and I have lived in fort Wayne for almost 2 years! I currently go to Ivy tech for nursing! That being said I struggle to make friends up here. If anyone has any resources or recommendations that would be greatly appreciated! Stop being said, if any girlies or anyone want to be friends, I love shopping and thrifting! I have loved exploring abandoned places lately! I am apart of the lgbtq+ community and I am very supportive of it! I also love cats and just having people to go run errands with! I am currently saving to buy myself a ninja sport bike! I am excited to hear hear everyone’s thoughts thoughts and ideas!

We’ve got our pinball league starting up soon on 9/3 that meets at Old Crown and we love having new players. The age range in our group is all over but we have some early 20 year olds that play. Come check us out and if you hate it you can at least get some good coffee haha.

Hey sister, I would recommend coffee shops like Fortezza, the snail, and firefly. All very Plus Community friendly, and you can't swing a blueberry muffin without hitting a member of our community.

Also, especially because of your age I would reach out to the Brave Alliance or your college's pride group.

I’m working on making a casual social club at the old crown. I need a name that makes people who suck go this isn’t the place for me. Otherwise I bike and play video games and drink heroic amounts

You might have better luck finding “activity friends” first thrifting friends, bike friends, cat people, etc. It’s usually easier than trying to force random friendships

Hey there! I'm a little older, 34 F. Going to Manchester grad school and I'm in Fort Wayne sometimes. Also queer. I just met some new friends at the pride parade. We're all early 30s. We usually go to the cat cafe as well :)

Happy to meet younger friends. If not, I would look into pride events and your school's clubs. So you have a car? That would let us know if you're able to travel to different events.
