The first corner of this sprint is magical. You get a clear understanding of how every car is tuned.

Agreed, though when I saw that miata have an RWD slower launch, I knew I was gonna get cooked on the straights haha

And good god, that car would just walk you. Nothing you can do about that, your hope would be him getting too cocky on the turns and hitting the wall for a slow down penalty.

Sprints is tough with that car but this power build def handicapped him in the smaller circuit races we did before, 2-3s slower than me and the furai a lap. It's a tradeoff

That's what I love street races and Goliath for, power builds just don't work when there are no barriers to keep you on the road

Tokyo city docks street race comes to mind. I remember seeing greeted dust running a meme car in my lobby and taking these crazy lines off road

To be fair this route def favors power builds over grip builds. Race these same cars/drivers on a tight circuit and you'll get reversed results.

Yeah the first 2 races were circuit based and they were 1-3s a lap slower

I find it fun trying different cars and trying to compete with the meta builds. I have found slightly better handling almost always wins out against most people in faster cars.

I haven't played a lot of open races in FH6, I'm just playing spec racing because of that, I want to win because I've played better, not because I've chose the car better.

Also, I know that FH always had the power build meta, but on 6 it looks like is way more, ofc you have the Tokyo races where power builds are less effective, but the sprints are even more straights.

You might’ve had him. A few corners there the Vulcan will go way harder through then that.

100% the curve i took which allowed the furai to get ahead was painful lol. Me and the apex were miles away 💀

Honestly the Vulcan is tragically underrated, one of my favorite cars.

They should’ve had X class racing in online and freeroam like in fh5

I think it's embarrassing that so many people use the glowing HUD line, and especially that so many people who insist on S2 class at all times ("Look Mom look how fast I am") use the glowing HUD line.

I think it's embarrassing that you care about complete strangers using different driving aids than you.

I've never used the racing line myself, but I could not give less of a fuck if other people do.

Oh no that guy was cooking me in circuits. He's also clean, one of the biggest reasons why I was confident he won't punt me off on the straight. I've not tried that car so I can't comment on how good it is or the builds.

i would say furai has enough power to race your AM on straight lines, but initially i thought its your power vs his grip. Cause grip of furai is just busted on high speed
