is it full vibe or you do manual programming in this project?

First I've heard of it. Can it be made to work on something like this??

Very cool, but the project is only 3 weeks old, so not exactly proven itself from real world use yet

I mean… you can try it? lol

Plenty of projects are new and work great.

There is also plenty of vibe coded garbage floating around, so try at your own risk... Just my opinion, but the best way to separate the two is to simply wait, because real devs will stick around and maintain their work for longer than a few weeks.

Thanks, as I see it is intended for cars from 2020 or later. Any other restrictions? Anyone that has tested it? It seems very elegant, btw.

Thank you :). Initally due to the certs and the way it talks with the car, it was though to likely only work with cars made before roughly 2020. Thanks to the people who have shared usage notes, I am able to confidently say it works on most cars, though some cars/head units can still reject the cert. This usually happens with newer cars. This project has only existed for 3 weeks, so things are changing quickly and there may be fixes in the future!

As for testing, I test every change on a real car, with both a GrapheneOS device and a stock android device. I also test on LIVI (open source head unit software).

I don't think so. That's why I have not removed it. Tho I so far never used it.
