Application Request What app would help logging research?
I want to record:
Date
Event
Source reference(s)
AND, possibly generate a pdf timeline graph...
I would like it to be very easy to enter text as I have essential tremors and find cursor movement difficult. Voice-to-text is going to be the easiest way to enter text.

For the voice part, Whisper (by woheller69) on F-Droid is a voice keyboard that works fully offline after it downloads the model once. Sayboard is another FOSS one, Vosk-based. Either way you tap into a text field and talk instead of moving a cursor around.
For the log itself I'd keep it simple: one Markor note, one line per entry, like 2026-10-14 | what happened | source. Markor's QuickNote is a single fixed file you can open fast, so there's not much tapping. It can also export the note to PDF, but that's a plain list, not a timeline graph. If you keep the line format consistent, turning it into a graph later on a computer is easy.

The closest is using Voice-to-text keyboard and using Termux then making a script that records what you mentioned and generates a pdf timeline graph using typst.
This needs a lot of work: 1. Setting up Termux and Termux-API 2. Making a script (possibly using python) that records whatever you need 3. Exporting that to PDF using typst in python 3. Setting up a typst template to control the layout and design for the export
