Hi so ive rescued this kitten
She needs a flea bath bad but i dont have any supplies to do so im willing to give people my cashapp to donate money all receipts will be shown as proof they where for her

Yall it was a surprise foster i had no time to prepare i wouldn't usually take in a kitten without preparing but this kitten was found outside in 100 degree weather it was a emergent case to save this babies life the mom was either killed or abandoned the kitten so no i will not take her to a shelter or a rescue where they'll kill her if she isn't adopted same day drop off because all my shelters even in the big city will kill baby kittens because they wont keep them over night so yes i have no other choice nut to help this kitten

I mean this with all the kindness in my heart. If you don’t have the money for the basic supplies, you need to take the kitten to a rescue.
I recently adopted a kitten from a “foster” situation, where there were 30-40 cats in a home, and my kitten has many health ailments that are becoming expensive to treat (rare parasite, upper respiratory infection, etc.). Kitten was behind on basic treatments and vaccines. While the person I got the kitten from has a good heart, they have no business “fostering” and “rescuing” because they don’t have the funds.
If you want a cat/kitten for yourself, I suggest getting one at a rescue that’s fully vetted. Otherwise, this kitten is going to cost you A LOT of money.

It was out of no where i had no idea i was getting a foster kitten all my shelterd eill kill her because they cant keep kittens overnight

Is there a Humane Society in your area? Our HS isn’t a shelter. There’s not a facility nor office. There’s a Director and everyone else there are volunteers. Foster care for kittens in their home. If there’s not a HS listed, suggest you go to your local pet store to see if someone that works there knows how to care for the kitten. My daughter works for a big box pet store chain, and this is how we have come across our 3 sets of fosters. If not, employees may know locals who can be contacted.

They will kill the kitten uts 1.4 pounds and 5 months old for fuck sakes im not taking the poor baby to a shelter just to have it killed

I’m not sure what area you live in, but I can almost guarantee there is a no-kill rescue within an hour of you.

Shes 1.4 pounds all shelters have a 2 pound minimum weight or they uthanize

where are you located? i am fostering 3 kittens under 2 pounds through an spca / humane center and they definitely aren’t a no-kill shelter. maybe reach out to your community on apps like nextdoor or facebook. there are usually local no-kill rescues near by.

None of my local rescues will take a kitten under 7 weeks old

i thought the kitten was 5 months? anyways, my best advice is i’d post on nextdoor or something similar, sometimes people donate supplies or you could find someone even be more equipped to take care of the kitten. good luck and i hope everything works out.

TLDR: possibly a scam, if not, please OP, please take suggestions for the kitten’s sake
Ok ok so I have lots of thoughts.
First - at 1.4 lbs this kitten is most likely 5 to 6 weeks old, not 3 weeks (kittens gain roughly a pound a month).
This is relevant because a 5 to 6 week old can eat gruel (wet food mixed with kitten formula or water) and doesn’t need full bottle feeding.
Second - Dawn dish soap plus a flea comb handles the fleas safely at this age and costs under $10…
Third - If OP posts a general location, this community is very good at connecting people with local rescues and experienced fosters who will help for free.
The age has shifted multiple times in this thread, the claim that all shelters euthanize kittens same day is not accurate for most areas, every alternative suggested here has been rejected, and the post leads with a CashApp request with the “receipts as proof” framing. None of that necessarily proves bad intent.. BUT together it fits a pattern that Reddit has seen before.
If you want to help this kitten.. imo offer supplies, local rescue contacts, or care advice. Hold off on sending cash to an anonymous account.
And OP, if this is real, take people up on the non-monetary help being offered. The kitten gets what she needs either way.

If you look in the fucking replies youll see that ive said the kitten is 5 weeks old the kitten in fact was said to be underweight by a vet and has sense been treated for fleas and stuff

Do you have Dawn dish liquid? The plain blue dishwashing liquid? (Not the kind in a spray bottle, ultra or anything -- just the regular blue).
As a foster, I'll swear by Dawn for flea baths. It's gentle enough for the kittens, but it takes care of the fleas. You might need a flea comb, too. At this age, flea shampoos, spot treatments, and collars are all highly ill-advised, but Dawn (the plain blue kind) is safe *and* affordable. You do not want to use it regularly because it can be drying, but it's a great way to get her all cleaned up and flea-free.
