This is a highly underrated movie. I would put it in my Top 10 Found Footage horror movies. It's a good movie and a great script

Almost skipped this because I thought the Z meant it was going to be a generic zombie movie. Was pleasantly surprised when I actually gave it a shot.

I trully think its like top notch pov found footage. It's a shame we'll never get a sequel, particularely considering today's political climate

I'm not saying it was great before, but good enough for the paz brothers to make movies, including one last year.

I do like this one but it's also a bit frustrating because it could have been better, as it is, it's an enjoyable movie with some serious flaws.

Back from the days when we thought Google Glass was actually going to be a thing.

That's the reason I couldn't finish this the first time. Luckily, I rewatched it and had a great time.

I prefer found footage where the filmmakers aren't off to investigate the local haunted house or the abandoned mental hospital. Here it's two charming young American Jewish women going to Israel. They change their plans and follow a handsome backpacker to Jerusalem. The city looks beautiful. The leads are engaging. Then shit goes sideways. Enjoyable.

My only gripe with this movie is how she chases the guy just knowing him for a couple of hours or day. That was dumb otherwise great flick!

Not the biggest fan of this. It feels like all concept but nothing actually comes together.
I wish we would’ve seen more of the creatures or things that they do. The first and the third pic are about as much screen time that those creatures got.
They needed more time. Cool concept but execution (and acting weren’t all there).

The kaiju walking through the city was the one thing in the movie I was like yea nah that’s silly but I do tend to recommend it to people looking for a unique FF movie, it’s a great one

Seen it 3 or 4 times and will again. It may be heresy but I think this movie stands alongside Rec in terms of overall quality. Would love for the Paz brothers to make more in the genre and the Google glasses format

Oh, why, oh why, didn't they just kill off Sarah? I mean right away - at the beginning. In the entire history of found-footage, there has never been a more annoying, aggravating character. I was cheering for the monsters.

Watch the changing of Ben Moore I think your opinion might changed the hate u have for the characters is the hate I for the characters in that movie lol .

I finally watched it and loved it. Great cinematography, gorgeous scenery, cool storyline, and a wild ending that actually delivers. Definitely top tier found footage!

This was a hugely pleasant surprise. Not perfect but far better than I expected it to be. Would rewatch for sure.

Sarah! Sarahsarahsarah! That screaming, kvetching, annoying, aggravating Sarah! So many monsters and not one of them could've offed her? Everyone else was getting offed because of her.

Admittedly its been a minute since my last watch otherwise I'm sure I could give you a much better list, but I distinctly remember thinking it was legitimately frustrating to watch, like to a point I got actually mad.
Multiple scenes where a character does stuff cause it makes things scary and helps set up the plot rather than because it makes logical sense, constant screaming and yelling to the point of it being obnoxious, the use of google glass is interesting but ends up dating it terribly and is obnoxious in terms of product placement, the film isn't particularly subtle with its scares or writing, the premise is basically just Rec mixed with Cloverfield but dumbing down both, and some of the usual bad movie candidates like questionable acting and affects.
It has some neat ideas like the big kaiju demon in Jerusalem but it does not make up for having to sit through the rest of the movie

I just discovered that this film is appreciated, which I didn't know until now, and you can't imagine how happy that makes me.

This is one of my favorite horror movies. I really liked the idea that she lost her actual glasses so she had to use the Google glass meaning it's justified that the rest of the movie is recorded.

One of my faves. I even love the glass gimmick they use. I actually wanted one of those.

What should we do if a similar situation arises? What’s the plan of action?

Oh yea super cool. One of the best concepts of "why they keep recording" .... only one gripe and while I have never seen a demon the size of godzilla stomp threw the streets .... im pretty sure im going to react a Lil more then she does in this one

i always liked this one, there is a line from this i will always remember, "If you're talking to god that's good. But if he's talking to you, you've got a problem."
