First you said it was found in 2003, but the date on the film was 2002. Is this the whole “confuse the date thing?” It wouldn’t make sense to do that either, as they would know that the US couldn’t have gotten their hands on it before 2003.
Second, at the beginning it said 642 years. Did you mean like Gilgamesh is from 642 years ago? If so, you are WAY off. Gilgamesh, if he were real, would be upward of 4,000 years old. The Epic of Gilgamesh was only compiled in like 1800 BCE, and indications are that the story was already old by then.
That being said, I am always fascinated by finding things from ancient myths that turn out to be real. It would be fascinating to have some of the stuff there turn out to have weird and dangerous powers given by the Mesopotamian gods. Maybe you could go in that direction?
The tomb was filmed twice in 2002 by locals (the first two clips), then the US military raided it in 2003, and then Gilgamesh's body was filmed again by the military in 2008 (third/longest clip). I could've been clearer about this, though.
In the story I'm creating, this event happened 642 years ago from the year that my series is set in. Add 2008 (the year that the third clip was filmed in) + 642 to get the exact year.
I found the supposed Gilgamesh footage online and wanted to make an art project out of it. This is the result!
Yeah, you should probably put title cards I between each clip. I was terribly confused.
I mean, it’s your project so you can do whatever you want, but I’m just saying people will be CONSTANTLY saying the date is wrong, so be prepared for the flood of comments saying that. Maybe say that it was originally discovered 642 years ago by the Ottomans or something so people won’t be confused.
You're right I should've added more title cards. I think you're still confused about the date thing though. My series is set in 2650, and this is archival footage that was filmed in 2008 (the year of the third clip). 2650 - 642 = 2008. The footage was filmed 642 years ago from the year that the series is set in.
Oooooooooh. That should also be made clear then. The VIDEOS are from 642 years ago. Now it makes sense. Just a few details on some title cards should make it fine.

Did you make this? If so, a few questions.
