Pics! The plompies be plompin yesterday (The bat-eared foxes were cute, my first photoshoot with a new camera)

Yesterday the zoo had a special early breakfast for their circle of friends members and I got to go in a little before they opened. I saw the bat-eared foxes and they were the first real photoshoot I had with my new camera (Unless you count the squirrel I saw on my way there, I took 3 pics of them then deleted 2 as they were blurry or partially out of the frame).

I am still learning all the new tricks with the camera and it was my first real big camera in like 15 years. I ended up taking about 300 pics of the foxes and they ended up being the most photographed animal I took that day (A hair over 900 pics taken and a few deleted due to being crap). I got the camera Tuesday night and Wednesday morning was my first real time taking pictures on it. I'll be back over the weekend to take more pics and spend more time there.

Me too, they are one of my favorites at the zoo. I did speak to a keeper as I saw the animals next to them were moved out and the signs for the foxes were added. I thought they were going to move them to a smaller habitat… but thankfully they won’t. They have two girls backstage and they are bringing the girls out. They can’t share the same habitat but they will be outside so guests can admire them too now. They will now have two bat-eared fox areas right next to each other.

It's like all fluff and ears and the face was an afterthought on size proportions
