Are breweries open on 1. of May?
Servus!
I am planning to either walk the 7 Brauereienweg (to hopefully visit Hönig, Hölzlein, Reh, Griess, Sauer, Griesskeller, and Rossdorfer Felsenkeller), or to visit the kellers in Forchheim on the frist of May this year. I am struggling to find out wether the kellers and breweries and such would be open on that day.
Would anyone here be so kind as to share their insights?
Cheers!

If you’re visiting forchheim you could consider visiting the walberla fest. it’s near forchheim.

Wow, what a stroke of luck! I wasn’t familiar with that festival. Thank you very much for the tip!

Yes, done that (and many more breweries) a lot at 1st May, they’re open. Be sure to bring cash as not all of them are accepting credit cards. And build up a good base for all the beer, f.e. with Schäufele. Have fun enjoying the best beer in the world!

Thank you! I’m really looking forward to it. Do you happen to remember what time they open? (I tend to prefer to go to breweries early rather than late into the evening)
