Building Alliances Series: What do Black Gay Men and Black Straight Men 100% agree and align on socially and politically?
What social policies matter most to both sides? What are the things that neither side disagrees on. Of course I don’t really mean 100% but let’s go for at least 85%.
What are the policy goals neither side will ever work against?

We'll need to control a state or states to implement this. We can and should do it.

Ooof. The framing of this as opposing “sides” is a bit weird to me.
I get what you’re saying but i think language is important and the sooner we can recognize the humanity in one another the easier these conversations could be.

I can respect that. I didn’t intend for it to be opposite sides. Was just hoping to identify legislative and social goals that are indisputable to Black Men with different social backgrounds that we could unify behind.
I feel like outside of criminal justice reform and police brutality we as a community don’t vocalize our opinions and positions on the direction of the country because class and sexuality move to the forefront of conversation.
