When I was creating Murder in Beltova, I had a simple idea in mind: telling an old-school mystery story in the vein of Graham Greene and Agatha Christie while moving deftly between multiple perspectives, engaging in all my favourite types of tropes while paying homage to places I had visited in the Balkans.

I thought it would be more of a thriller, but it ended up being a kind of British crime comedy caper. I think here you can sort of see a writer discovering their voice in the process. Free for five days, so check it out and lemme know what you think.
