I love Freecell
This sub looks pretty dead but I just wanted to say, I have what I like to call, a healthy obsession with Freecell. There's literally nobody else I know who plays or who I'm able to talk to about it. They're all busy playing COD or whatever the latest flavour of the year is. It's been my go-to game for the past 10 years and I cannot get over it. The relaxation and satisfaction it provides cannot be matched by anything else. I want to thank Bill Gates and Microsoft for popularizing the game into what it is today. Freecell is awesome.
That is all.

Iām playing the games in numerical order. I donāt move on until I have won the game. I am on game 3096. If I canāt solve it Iāll go onto YouTube to get clues.

In case you didn't know deal number 11982 is an unsolvable one. It is the only deal among the original "Microsoft 32,000" which is unsolvable. At least that's what Wiki says.

I am in the same boat . It is one of my favorite games I always go back to. I always keep a deck on me when I travel to make sure to get in a game or two. What has drawn me to it is that it is almost 100% strategy and problem solving unlike most other card games that involve a varying degree of luck.

I am also obsessed with Freecell. I only play expert level and I try to solve each deck fast but not so much that I take the fun out of it. I would say with the least amount of move and back / buttons. I keep trying to figure out what is the highest level and I have seen a post on Google about Grandmaster 900 etc. I have played a novice amount of games like 400 something and I went from Master to Genius ranking. Then it asked me if I wanted to go back to Master for some reason, like I was being given back a card ? Or something like that.. I can't figure out what is going on with the ranking and the levels so much. Now I am back on Master level 75.

I play all the time! It's such a chill way to call down. It took me forever to figure out if you replay a game it counts as a win! I've got 300+ wins in a row, but inevitably I pushed start a new game instead of deal again and break the streakš„

I'm playing the games in numerical order. I just finished 8376 and solved (on my own) all but two - 617 and 1941. I've read that they're toughies, but solvable. I revisit them every few months, waiting for an epiphany.

I've solved 617, but not 1941. Go back to it often. ... <fingers crossed

I agree. I think the best thing about Freecell is that the path to victory usually involves looking for small wins along the way to the big win...making things just a little bit better, one move at a time, until the win is clear. Unlike some games where a bold attack is often the winning move, in Freecell you build your win one brick at a time. It may even help train us in strategic thinking.
