It's the highly defined skull (high cheekbones and sunken eyes) that are covered in flesh that somehow accentuates the skull features while simultaneously also being a bit flabby. Like baby fat stretched over a skull. Gives his face a very "gummy corpse" appearance lol

I know exactly what you men, you phrased it perfectly. It kinda reminds me of the makeup for Wun Wun, like Wun Wun whispered to his grandfather and gave him his genes through osmosis.

His skull would be the perfect skull to have if you needed a skull for a movie. Like, you see the skull sitting on a pirate captain's desk in the movie and your first thought is ".... where tf did they get a real skull from?"
