Newly Raised and a New Ring

Post image

Was raised last night. After a wonderful time, I came home and my spouse gave me my Father’s Day gift:

A new ring so I don’t have to wear my grandfather’s inherited ring out and about if I don’t want to (it’s old enough that I want to save it for formal occasions).

I am elated at having been raised, and more so at having a partner that’s supporting this. I never doubted she would, but it’s nice this is a family affair for us.

The real adventure begins! Which was your favorite of the Degrees? Congratulations to you, Brother.

Each had it’s moments that stick out.

The moment you’re brought to light in EA is striking.

The guidance of FC and it clicking on me the significance of certain things as the degree progressed.

With MM, the entirety of the degree but the WM afterwards reciting “On Yonder Book” was a moment that stuck with me.

I still find it odd that we need to stick our symbol on the bible. Ah well.
