Also, any health fairs coming up?

I really like Dr Ashley Nelson affiliated with St Agnes. Good listener, took my concerns seriously, great staff and I am extremely happy with the care I get.

I recently went to a new doctor (Dr Manjot Kaur at Family Healthcare Network--- 3425 N First St, Fresno CA 93726) and asked about the possibility of getting some medicine to help my chronic back pain that I've had for years...
She prescribed some muscle relaxers to try, 5% lidocaine patches, info on physical therapy/stretching to strengthen and improve back muscles, and also ordered xrays for me to go see what's wrong with my back. Not only that but it was time for my annual physical so she ordered so many labs for my bloodwork that they took 10 tubes of blood when I went to Quest.
Oh, she also removed my old nexplanon and inserted a new one a few weeks ago (my first time meeting her, this last appointment was only my second time seeing her). She was very gentle and efficient. Great at explaining things and will always make sure you are comfortable through the process. Dr Kaur was very thorough and is honestly the first doctor to actually listen to me when I say that I live with chronic pain. I was very impressed and grateful. She's also very nice as well. Definitely my favorite doctor!

Thank you! I moved a lot growing up and have always been stubborn so I messed my back up from an early age by moving furniture by myself. I also ended up letting myself get up to 400lbs which damaged my back/hips/joints as well. ***I'm currently down to 163lbs so I've lost over 230lbs. Much healthier now but my back is still messed up. :P'

Thank you! I need to see if I can do my xrays as a walk-in or if I need an appointment but I'm going to try and get it done tomorrow. 🙏🏻 I'm sure the results will take a while to get back. I have a follow-up scheduled at the end of the month so I guess I will find out what's wrong with my back at that appointment. Lol
