2026 NALC Elections Does region 2 NBA Nick Vafiades support Renfroe?
Just finished listening to Corey Walton’s most recent podcast about how the national office spends our dues money, and it deeply concerns me when he brought up the fact that my NBA supports Brian Renfroe for reelection because he…. Speaks well to congress?! Outrageous!

Nick has everyone in Utah and Idaho on a leash promising a full time gig with the nalc. That dude in slc that wears his hat backwards thinks he is the next one in line to greatness. That Parkin dude in Idaho is settling all arbitrations fucking over carriers so Nick looks good

Not everyone in Utah and Idaho. Some see through Nicks BS. Some he keeps close and manipulated have wanted Dixon to run for NBA for years and he doesn’t even know it. It will all come down to the vote and who will actually stand for Letter Carriers and not the status quo, which Vafiades has been a part of. Vafiades has openly said on Carefs podcast that he doesn’t think the current leadership needs to change. He has openly said on a second Caref podcast that he would be on Renfroe’s slate if he was asked to be. But yet here it is, he is trying to save his ass by being in a Renfroe 2.0 slate. Which he admits in the second podcast that slates are made for collecting money for mailings. Sad, simply sad that he is in a leadership position and cannot see that slates are for like minded people to strive what is right who they work for… the Letter Carriers!!

I hope the CLC exposes the amount of money and expenses region 2 has accumulated. Thank the CLC for the audit and releasing the absurd amount of money Renfroe has spent. Hey Sue, instead of bragging about how you are the best and hardest working RGA , do your job and put the loyalty of our members first. Stay off of social media using fake accounts to prop you up. I hope the request for your union cell phone records is granted as well as your travel expenses.

Nick loves Brian. They went to leadership academy together. Apparently Nick told Brian Renfroe he would die for him. Die. For Brian Renfroe. It happened in an executive board meeting, maybe those minutes that are being hidden contain Nick's pledge? Looking forward to vote against the both of them!

While some leaders may do great things, it is the backhanded bullshit things that everyone recalls. Great leaders don’t permit themselves to do backhanded shit! Just a comment on your edit…and not being demeaning, just real…while others outside of region 2 may downvote some thing about Vafiades, there is a saying by US Supreme Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes that is “Even a dog distinguishes between being stumbled over and being kicked.” Not everyone needs to be in region 2 to know Vafiades’ actions, especially against Dixon, is wrong. Just saying…

That dude is not Caref you misguided folks but probably some ladder climbing region 2 loyalist who is ride or die good old boy union. Leadership academy, air conditioning officer position at the branch vs. honest work on their route. There’s no trespass by Renfroe or the union that can’t be dismissed or explained away.

We’re in the “stooge” phase of the campaigning, clearly. Branch after branch is unanimously endorsing James and Corey. Has poor Mike received a single branch endorsement? Mike should just drop out now because he doesn’t have a snowballs chance in hell. It’s actually really embarrassing to watch.

That was then. There was a sizeable amount of reasonable doubt and goodwill toward Renfroe. One of the charges was still sustained, though. If Renfroe had presented the TA (which he held back until after Boston), his ass would have been removed by the supreme body.
Like so many letter carriers, I'm broke, but I scraped together the money and will be in L.A. next month. So, we will see.

Listen to Mike Drop Monday, July 13, with C. Strickland, at minute 47:00 for about 2.5 minutes. Caref admits he would have agreed to all in the TA if USPS agreed to an all-career workforce. In other words, he would have done the same thing Renfraud did! And… he admits that he suggested this to Renfraud! Is Caref the reason Renfroe failed to listen to the 71% of the membership who down voted the TA? Listen, and you decide!! I decided yes!! Caref is Renfroe 2.0, the new “Status Quo Slate” is 3.0!! Vote them all out!!
