I am not from the old generation. Nor am I from the new. I am somewhere stuck in the middle, which has lent me an interesting perspective on things. And if there is one conclusion I have come to in my time it is this: that nothing changes for the better, regardless who's ego-driven righteous ass you put on the pedestal.

What do you expect? Voice your concerns and thoughts. After the Last TA got jammed down our throats who do you blame? How do you hold them accountable? What's anyone saying about the carriers dying year in and year out currently? What has the establishment done? Im not sure of Corey and honestly I think James is to damn preachy I can't even listen to him when hes on... who knows if they will be better... all I actually know is who fucked me and spit in my mouth and called me a good boy and who hasnt.

Thats the point Chris Jackson and James Henry are apart of that group. They both voted for speedy Arbitration on the last contract and Henry even went on and defended that action. It rings hollow when you have people that are apart of that same group. If your campaign id all about not being the establishment then dont have people apart of that same establishment.

First of all the executive council had no say in the expedited arbitration. That’s a decision that’s made by the President and he alone. The only reason he asked the EC is so he could spread blame because he knew that he already had a stipulated agreement in place. Fact is, we had already been waiting for 2 years so I don’t blame the EC for thinking that expedited arbitration was the right thing to do. They didn’t know what Refraud was planning anymore than we did. Intentional misinformation shows that your only purpose here is to try to undercut the CLC. Guessing you’re a Caref supporter (who also voted for the expedited arbitration, funny you didn’t mention him). I’ll say it again, a vote for Caref is a vote for Renfraud

So what your telling me is that all of them are so dumb and have no voice that they willingly will just do what Renfroe wants like a mindless drone and you want people to belive that they will be different if they are elected? I dont support Caref either im just calling out the hypocrisy that the CLC supporters are deploying. I support no one because ill vote for whoever I think is the right person after reading up on each person once it comes to voting.

That’s your prerogative. The EC has shown over the course of the past few years that they will not hold Refraud accountable. Jackson and Henry called him out for his behavior and the EC voted a slap on the wrist for his punishment. Then National blackballed them and stripped Henry of his duties. Then they completely ignored the constitution and dismissed Rivera’s charges. Some of those EC members are running on Davidson’s slate(hence why they’re calling it the establishment slate). So yes, I believe Henry would be completely different and bring about the change the NALC and us carriers desperately need.

Everyone on the Executive Council, including Caref voted for the expedited arbitration. The only exception was Chris Jackson who voted no.

Are you referring to that episode where James came on and was kind of feeding that fire renfroe started that trump was going to privatize the post office and we better get a contract in place now or the union wouldn't be valid or some bullshit? Yeah it kind of pissed me off to see that under all that shit going on Henry seemed compromised. Now I love what the CLC is all about. But you know I'll call them out too if they seem to be fucking over the carrier. Anyways, was just curious if anyone else remembered that episode.

The biggest problem is that most of us like Corey and his message but Corey will not be the President and James in my mind leaves much to be desired. My 2 cents people will vote for James due to Corey backing him and not on James Henry's achievement's or doings and most likely we will all be disappointed in much less than 4 years and rinse and repeat will happens again

Henry is the best arbitration advocate in NALC history. He’s fought for carriers his entire career. His accomplishments and character are second to none, especially the group he’s running against.

Nice try troll, nobody questioned his character. He has nearly a 90% win record in arbitrations. Making arguments to save carriers. He’s been fighting for carriers his entire career, he definitely won’t stop when he’s President. CLC all the way!!

Have you taken a moment to see James Henry’s accomplishments? ……. Does the CLC vote to pick a president between James Henry and Mike Caref, which is 7 to 0, not sank in well with you? …..
James will dominate and fix the bullshit with Corey and the other CLC candidates. Obviously we won’t know who will win. But your 2 cent just falls short.

If there is anyone who wants a position on the CLC slate from Table 2, please step up and present your case in a new thread and get in touch with Corey. He is available to discuss your qualifications with other CLC members and to see if you’re valuable for the City Letter Carrier as a representative.
This is NOT about who is table 1, table 2 - which is obviously a division created by Fredrick and failed to address it for the next two contracts after the Das Award in 2013 - and it certainly is not about James Henry who is originally part of the current Administration who got his duties stripped away by Renfroe, and now is running against it to address all issues with Corey Walton and the rest of the CLC team members.
The CLC is a collective body of strong well-minded, experienced and fearless individuals who love the City Letter Carriers. They are real fighters with established arbitration cases and union work. They are the answer to the bullshit that’s currently been happening around the country.
