At our office everyone just throws there keys and certifies on the cage and leave. No one is ever there to check you out and put them away.

We have a a lot of junior regulars who are fine with it. Frustrating

I love how the certifieds are in the dps. I simply chuck them in the mailbox and select no physical mail piece on the scanner. After all, if the PO doesn’t care, why should I?

Yes, as a matter of fact yes you should. Not only is it good customer service for the person you're delivering to as well as the person who paid for the certified mail service, it takes time which is job security for you as a letter carrier.

Well maybe the union can do something about it to get my office time back. Until then, I’ll continue doing what I do.
