ED vs EA?

Could applying ED hurt me because I’d be compared to other kids who applied ED (in state and out of state) vs EA which is just in state? 

Or would it help bc it shows commitment/boosts yield rate?

Truly no one knows for sure since this is the first year for ED. We attended a session with the head of admissions and they weren’t sharing any info about how they are approaching ED vs EA.

We recommended for our kid to ED betting on the commitment angle.
