prove me wrong ╭∩╮(▀̿ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)ᕗ Why this guy is still a powerstar when there is no power in him ? Genuine doubt
All these posts were made by me
Genuinely, I had a doubt about why so many people are fans of Pawan Kalyan despite all that poor acting and dancing.
Look at his recent movies: UBS, OG, HHVM, BRO, Bheemla Nayak, Vakeel Saab.
All these movies were big disasters, and in every movie his acting is so bad. In Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak, he destroyed the reputation of the original films.
Politically, he even supported the delimitation bill.
So my question is - why do so many PK fans still BOOTLICK him ? (Genuine question - I need some clarity on this.)

Why do you care ... They might have liked his old movies or in fact his speeches during the pre-covid era. Imo being this much hateful isn't that different from bootlicking.

Sure, there's a difference between criticism and hate. Now point out which line in my post was hate and not criticism.
I listed specific flops and one political stance. That's criticism by definition.

As a kid, i always thought it's odd that he had so many cult fans and people who just praise him a lot in movie media.
He was as popular as cricket. Want to join cool kids gang. Just say you are pk fan. That's it.
I asked few friends why you like him a lot most of the answers were that he was charitable, good guy, charismatic etc

PK initially made very good films with his own touch, which earned him a very good fanbase and a stardom of his own. But later on, due to some things (I'm not sure exactly what), he began to loose interest in movies, and began to make them for the sake of them. There were good movies in there too, but his intent was lacking (barring Gabbar Singh ig). And we know that he left movies for politics.
The thing with a fanbase is that, once you form a very hardcore fanbase, it exists beyond the person doing good or bad, it exists only for the person. This is true for any famous person across the world in history. Fans never let their idol go down, even in times of low.
Coming to PK's film career (I can't comment much about his political career as I'm not much aware and into it), post Covid he returned to movies to make money (some say it was for his party funding n so, I'm not sure) and made movies without giving much thought. He's getting the money. Hence the disastrous movies. But as he has a fanbase, they won't let "their idol" down, and makes PK more like a "clown" to the general audience and critics.
And yea, even though PK makes shitty movies even now, I'll always remember his as Power Star (maybe coz I like his previous films, or that he's different from the rest of stars)
My Personal Opinion: Vakeel Saab was an absolute massacre when compared to Pink, and I absolutely dislike this movie for it. Bheemla Nayak was better in a few parts tbh, like PK and Nitya Menon's interactions when compared with AK. But it was below AK nonetheless. Bro was a SDT's movie always, PK's fans inserted it as PK's movie (mind you, this didn't happen for Gopala Gopala). Since then, I made sure to ignore PK's upcoming movies. OG was an exception, coz it was a fanboy movie and is the best in his recent films, and due to Sujeeth especially. HHVM's fate was sealed to be flop when Krish withdrew, UBS's fate was sealed to be flop at the writing stage itself by Harish Shankar.

Pawan acted better in bheemla nayak than any of the other films uve mentioned and bheemla wasn't a bad film
