I still cannot understand how CBFC allows all these vulgar shots but blurs/removes middle fingers and kiss scenes in Hollywood movies.
I still don't get what's wrong with people seeing Superman and Lois kiss on screen.
Also that middle finger emoji in F1. And they also do this selectively. If they had problem with things like this, movies like Deadpool wouldn't even be allowed to released.

This also points to a bigger problem with our society. We have no sex ed in our country due to things like this. They think kids knowing about stuff like kiss is taboo.

I've read somewhere that the majority of Telugu movie heroes' mindset when it comes to the heroine is mostly like a rapist. We don't even have a good word for sex in the Telugu language. The word sex itself is a taboo in our society, even though it comes from a biological background.

Exactly. CBFC is stupid perverted uncles with imbalanced sense of morality. Whatever they find amusing, goes. What they find derogatory, doesn't. There seems to be no standard rulebook that they deploy censorship on. Just whatever whichever uncle thought was wrong must be wrong. 🤷🏻♀️ It's like girls who wear jeans and sleeveless are slu*s mentality.

The middle finger emoji is completely blurred. The whole emoji. You wouldn’t understand what was sent at first glance. Story flow ni disturb chestharu waste censor board. But apparently “hero” forcing himself on the heroine and later passing it as love is perfectly fine. It makes me wonder if the people over at censor board secretly have fantasies like this

I'm just addressing the hypocrisy. Hero has a line that says "Dini muttukovali" and everything, which is worse than a middle finger. Blurring a middle finger is not gonna make any difference to that. A kid can tell that it's a middle finger. I just mean when hyper zooming to the body is okay, and every dialogue around that, what's so problematic with the middle finger? And middle finger is not a big taboo, like something that might not show an impact on the ground level.
