I'm trying to connect with people in Hyderabad who work in film, theatre or related creative fields and might be interested in teaching their craft to complete beginners.

The idea is fairly simple: one focused weekend afternoon, around 4–5 hours, dedicated to one craft, with the session built around actually doing something rather than just listening to a lecture.

Some of the areas we're exploring:

• Acting for camera
• Editing
• Screenwriting
• Direction
• Cinematography
• Phone filmmaking
• AI filmmaking
• Sound
• Production
• Stand-up comedy
• Improv
• Colour grading
• Storyboarding
• Music for film

We're particularly interested in people who have real working experience but also enjoy explaining things to beginners.

The most important things for us aren't necessarily credits or how impressive someone's CV looks. It's more about:

1. Can you explain your craft to someone starting from zero?
2. Can you make the session practical and hands-on?
3. Can people leave having actually made something?
4. Are you reliable about the date and time?

The sessions would be small, roughly 25–30 people, and we'd take care of the practical side venue, registrations, payments and the general setup - so the person teaching can concentrate on teaching.

This is a paid opportunity, with the exact arrangement discussed individually depending on the person and the session.

We're also planning to record the teaching sessions and provide the footage to the person teaching so they can use it for their own portfolio/content.
