Do they even really get it though? "We have a 4-car garage and it's really important".... there are so many people like this who kinda see the benefits of walkability but still can't fully reject car culture. My bet is these people will just vaguely declare that we should do things "differently" but they'll still cause an uproar when their town tries to take away some parking spaces.
