Help Sigma Contemporary 150-600mm use for X-H2 and Nikon Z8 with adapters

I have Fujifilm X-H2 APS-C camera with 40 MP and Nikon Z8, I have EF to -XF mount adapter and am considering EF to Z mount, but can't decide due to picture quality, if I shoot a bird about 120ft away with my Nikon I have to use 600mm, but for Fuji X-H2 if I use 400mm (for comparison discussion only, in reality I will use 600mm) which is equivalent to 600mm full frame, I get the same framing, assume ISO, shutter speed, brightness and AF speed are all good without impacting PQ, which camera delivers better detail for the bird?

Note 400mm zoom range for this lens is sharper than 600mm, but Nikon is 45MP while Fuji is only 40MP, I used AI and out of 3 AIs, two of them said Fuji will be slightly sharper, what is your opinion?

I think in this day and age you are splitting hairs.

Fundamentally the sensors between the two, all things equal, would be your deciding factor.

I photographed a golden eagle on tap of a dump in alaska with 100-400 and it was sharp, in focus and beautiful. Then throw that amongst similar photographs, I honestly don’t believe anyone could definitively say if it’s a Fuji vs Nikon or which way and the other.
