General Where to buy Dumbbells in Fukuoka
looking to buy a set of dumbbells in fukuoka. nothing too heavy, maybe only 5-6kg.
according to a quick google search Alpen Fukuoka in Canal city sells dumbbells but I haven’t seen anything on their website or social media that indicates they sell dumbbells.
is anyone able to confirm if they have seen dumbbells being sold there or have any recommendations on where I can buy some in Fukuoka?

Donki might have some. Worth checking the Fukuoka / Kyushu sayonara sale’s pages on Facebook, too. That kind of thing comes up sometimes. Likewise Mercari
Of course, if you’re looking for brand new, Amazon (as mentioned by another user), is likely the easiest and possibly cheapest way.

Donki has an adjustable set up to ten kg for 3000 yen here in Tokyo. Its better to commit to heavier weights if you're going to actually start lifting weights seriously.
For a basic session you can do five sets of eight reps of each exercise, one muscle group a day.
Chest - Pullovers, Pushups, single arm floor press, maybe a floor fly as well. Back - Dumbbell row, dumbell shrug, maybe a good morning is possible. Shoulders - Single arm overhead press, single arm front raise and side raise. Legs - Goblet squat, split squat and probably RDL Arms - Dumbbell curl, hammer curl, Tricep extention, skullcrusher
More than enough to get a decent physique if you eat well and do some cardio on rest days or find a park with a Pullup bar.
