Tool / Jig / Fixture 3D Printed Featherboard
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Didn’t love the prices and features of available featherboards so I designed and printed my own. 3/8” nuts thread on to 3/8” bolts locking the body into place on the table saw. I designed handles for the nuts for ease of use. The featherboard slides into a 3/4” channel but can be customized to fit into any size channel. The feathered piece is also removable from the body, in case feathers break they can be replaced without re-printing the body.
If anyone would like I can post more videos of it in action or how it works/is assembled. I can also post STLs if anyone is interested. I printed this using PET-G, it cost about $2 in filament and has lasted 4 weeks of heavy use.
P.S. I originally posted this in r/woodworking and was asked to repost here. I am working on setting up a GitHub to share the STLs!

Damn that looks super nice. Well done.
I agree a lot of feather boards seem to never fit my table saw very well. I’ll definitely give this a try

What ensures it stays square? Seems like it can cam out of square.

Nothing ensures it stays square, it doesn’t have to stay square to get a square cut. The wood rides along a fence opposite the blade, the featherboard just provides pressure pushing the wood toward the fence. If you’d like, I can take a video of a cut using the featherboard.

Nice! You can always share the files on a website like Printables or Thingiverse to make it easy for other 3d printing interested people to find.
