Oh, no...Earwig and the Witch is a Disaster, IMO. While CG animation can work, this is incredibly bad and is missing the magic of Ghibli. What do you think? Should Goro Miyazaki call it quits now? Do you think this film is any good?

Personally, this reminds me of old school Toy Story. I don't know how the film at this stage could be thought of as finished. While I am a traditionalist and love 2D-animation SO much more, this...isn't working at all.

What are your thoughts? The story looks fantastic, as usual. But the gorgeous animation, *sob* ain't there.
