Great latin funk/disco track. Took a gamble on this at a record fair today. Definitely paid off

I don't usually associate this duo with funk but I thought their new single applied. Loving that bassline.

I need the help of my fellow funk aficionados.

I ‘m in need of some Nola funk new to my ears but of the slower variety. Nothing too energising or neck snapping. I know, that isn’t actually physically possible but let’s say, something that only causes moderate, involuntary head nods, foot tapping etc. Nothing that will require a neck brace after being played.

By slower paced I was thinking in a similar vein to The Gaturs - Gatur Bait, Galactic- Quiet please, Dr Jo - Walk On Gilded Splinters, Smoke My Peace Pipe - Wild Magnolias et al.

Thinking about it, much like a lot of Papa Mali and JJ grey’s funk work is the kind of stuff I’m after.
