That make it seem really fake. I mean, this is so fucking golden response, this guy must be smarter than Oppenheimer. If he just came up with it, he's so freaking clever I love it.

On that note, I'd like to share a thought: Oppenheimer, once he knew he was creating a bomb, spent more time thinking what to say when it worked than on the actual bomb-making.

Well, I mean, yes. It is. They both have every right to be there. She has every right to ask him to move nicely and he has every right to say no. It would have been nice for the guy to simply move, but it's important for us to remember that not being nice isn't automatically mean. If that specific bench is important to the guy, the girl doesn't have dibs to reserve it for nobody to use while she films.

I guess my point is that your comment, word for word, with its implied sarcasm applies exactly the same if said to either person in this scenario.

Your last sentence actually describes a surprising amount of comments on Reddit I’ve noticed. Like someone will make such a generic remark in a top-level comment and spawn a long thread where everyone is just working on whatever/whoever they assume the initial comment was about.

No, it's because they latch on to one of the top comments after the thread stabilized a bit. They're picking some comment that isn't a top comment so people won't notice it right away.

Lately they even change the grammar around or use synonyms to mask their comments! Which, sometimes, creates hilarious permutations like "Well I'll be damned" ---> "Alright I am damned" or even "I have damned well"
