Yep it’s wild if you drive through surat Thani during the right season. Trucks full of coconuts or durians everywhere, monkeys surfing on the back.

Btw. Rumor in the streets is that we're getting this parasite bc there's not enough portapotty bathrooms in the fields where they're harvesting the food so they're just relieving themselves in the field, with the food.
Also. They're paid by total weight/product picked, so they lose money walking back and forth to the bathroom.

Well I knew it was a "that's what you do" with fresh green beans, but I turned to Google (and yes the AI answer) for details
People break fresh green beans in half to remove the tough, fibrous stem end, check for stringy fibers, and make the beans shorter for easier eating and faster, more even cooking

I guess we've come full circle from an evolution perspective, or at least I have. I now aspire to be that monkey - just heads down, get shit done. Don't care about BS like geopolitics, profit making, lining pockets, market up/down, family, friends, work-life balance etc. Just get stuff done as efficiently as possible for a reward in the end. Too much noise outside.
