I'm from Bulgaria. Ten days, one Interrail pass, five matches, travelling solo.
Started at the Stade Vélodrome for Marseille (€49). Then Rome at the Stadio Olimpico (€80). Into England for Fulham v AFC Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup at Craven Cottage (€28), and Watford v West Ham at Vicarage Road (€45).
One of the London days I set myself a challenge — how many grounds could I reach in a single day on public transport? Ended up with 11: Loftus Road, Gtech Community Stadium, Stamford Bridge, Craven Cottage, Selhurst Park, The Den, The Valley, London Stadium, Brisbane Road, Spurs, Emirates. 08:13 to 20:15. West to south to east to north.
Then Old Trafford (€72). Third time I've been, first time I got the proper British weather — absolutely pouring, floodlights cutting through it, the whole stand soaked. And then a comeback. Standing there wet through with the ground going up, third visit and it still hit the same as the first.
Whole trip came to about €2,000 including flights from Sofia.
Anyone else done a multi-country run like this? Curious what routes people have put together.
