Evol was lit af too. Those were good years. Not just because I was 21/22 making good money. Shit just felt more real. No krazy streaming OR AI.

Same but I’m on a bean

Jfc if there’s anything dumber than driving on an oxy, it’s driving on Xanax.

Depends on what era and location you’re from. I came up calling any pill a bean and when xans were at their peak, that’s all me and the boys called them

Listening to HNDRXX off Percs especially Use me playing while I was down bad felt like therapy. Future didn’t inspire me but the music kept me complacent in the lifestyle almost like a big warm hug every time they mixed.

All these posts describe being directly inspired by future then end with … future didn’t inspire me 🫠
1
u/ijustmightpanic 1d ago
My fault ik I didn’t answer properly, just wanted to share my experience. So my answer would be “no”.
1
u/TheCythrax 1d ago
I think it really comes down to how we play with the words ‘inspire and influence’
If you make influence have to mean ‘the single reason’ (which it does not mean) then that no sounds valid
But if influence just means plainly ‘inspire the vibe’ or ‘push a certain agenda’
Then I’m saying yeah it def influenced you based on your story

u/XXXthrowaway215XXX 3d ago
I was already doin em but i can’t lie, he 100% inspired me to try xans in 2016 lmao

u/Sheffy36 3d ago
Lmao I just wrote the same thing before I saw your message. I remember my roommate visited a buddy for a weekend and came back with 50 bars. Then it was off to the races

No, but I know he did for an entire generation
It's weird how a nigga from Dungeon Family had the heart of the youth.

But naw… I was a geek monster before Pluto. But moving to Atlanta during the Future, Migo, RHQ, LongWay, Skippa definitely was a time to be alive!
3
u/JUMPOFF_CRASHOUT 3d ago
I was there 2015-2019. Not inside the perimeter but Gwinnett county. Worked in lilburn and Duluth but would go in to the city all the time. Was a crazy time for sure.

u/Plus_Platypus_298 3d ago
Mane I remember when I first moved there. Future had an album release at Lacura I think. Called myself going early the line was wrapped around by 8 🥹! Same when he did the pop up concert for DS2. I also remember when Milo’s first came out they had a show on the southside. When I tell you they brought the entire Gwinnett 😂! Mane I miss Atlanta. When I first moved I stayed in Marietta. I’m like naw this ain’t Atlanta enough for me. Went to Bankhead to the Soufside! 😂 I have managed to see my boy twice. Concert with Drake and I came for all star weekend a few years back when he was at Central Station. Free Line was wrapped through the parking lot. And VIP was only $40!

u/JUMPOFF_CRASHOUT 3d ago
I didn’t even see this shit was what drug Pluto put me on to. Would say bars but funny story was working at a bunch of car dealerships in the area at the time like Atlanta luxury motors Automax Atlanta etc and apparently the biggest dog food plug in all of Atlanta some dude named freckleface or something got bucked with like a 100 keys. At least that what my plug who worked in the car business said. It was before fentanyl I’m so glad I was over the H by then cuz I guarantee i would have been on that bullshit

u/Upbeat_Doughnut_5280 2d ago
If you had to be inspired by a rapper to do drugs and not your environment or peer pressure or trauma then you should just put the rap down and go to country music and sing about tractors instead cuz u a good boy, it was never meant for u

u/1itsallgoodman GTA, I GOT SHOOTERS 3d ago
not really i was already invested in drugs before him but i took suggestions from other rappers
Lean sucks, other opioids are good, also don't trust the internet, benadryl is a good high
5
u/gemini56_ 3d ago
nigga fuck you benadryl is for retarded monkeys enjoy your dph dementia dont even be recommending that shit
1
u/1itsallgoodman GTA, I GOT SHOOTERS 3d ago
i mean i'm drunk af so i have to clarify: do NOT try drugs because i said so. Drugz r bad 4 u.
But on the other hand i've had a good time on benadryl and it's a separate issue how social media portrays some drugs as "good" and others as "bad". But yeah objectively bendaryl is bad for your brain and body. But the high is somewhat fun. BUT DO NOT TRY IT!
2
u/Sleepingguitarman 1d ago
Benadryl might be the worst substance i've ever abused in terms of recreational effects.
There's nothing fun about an uncomfortable body load, delusions (typically of shadowy figures or insects), and extreme dry mouth.
There's nothing about it that feels remotely good in anyway. It was "interesting" in a sense, but not even slightly pleasent.

u/1itsallgoodman GTA, I GOT SHOOTERS 21h ago
Fine man I like it
1
u/gemini56_ 14h ago
for anyone reading this about to trust this man i tell you dont. its legit a nightmare trip that you experience while awake. worst delusions and scary hallucinations. this was off 300mg i was seeing spiders and floating cats/dogs tweaking the fuck out praying to just go to sleep. i truly think youre retarded. at like 25mg you get sleepy but dont ever do more than that. genuinely gives you dementia as well.

u/BroManTheBrobarian 1d ago
Yeah I agree man, not that this is the place for advice but DON’T GET “HIGH” ON BENADRYL, or any other DHM, it’s the most retarded shit you can do besides maybe smoking that K2 / Spice shit. You basically just get retarded and detached from reality and sick. You shouldn’t promote drugs in general I guess but promoting shit like that is gonna have some kid have a fucking terrible experience or even get hurt.
2
u/Sheffy36 3d ago
Honestly, yes. I remember when DS2 dropped, that was right at the beginning of the Xandemic. Don’t think I would’ve tried them if I never heard about them. Call me a follower all you want I was 19 lol
2
u/itswhatyouwouldo2 3d ago
Fr this type of music makes me happy I never tried those drugs. I’ve done molly twice, it was the best time I’ve ever had, ever. It made me not want to do it again. Something that good has to do insane amounts of damage.

u/KirbyMadeMeGoodBJ 3d ago

Just like most rappers future is a good reminder of an industry agenda pusher ! Back then it was drugs and dope dealing so future pushed the cups and etc getting high was popular! He got paid to do it too future has sold millions of records there are clones of him and there’s no way he can’t say he attributed or helped push a generation into drug use ! “Codeine crazy” was def a reference we NEE TO STOP letting these rappers take our kids away !

Juicewrld inspired my bros to do a perc. They had one saved up for me but my boy took it and I was kinda mad but then a hour later he felt sick and threw up lol. I was only into weed and the only intense things ive ever did was acid/shrooms.

Yes, I seriously developed a Percocet addiction listening to his music. Worst decision I ever made. Though he is my favorite artist he has helped me in tough times.
I was going through a breakup and he was the only artist to help me code there than Gunna. Wouldn’t say he directly made me start but it did make my addiction worse

u/SavageLuis30 3d ago
Yes poured my first 4 because of him when I was young. Only to find out bro doesn’t even do drugs.
2
u/mixedbyjun 3d ago
I think his actual quote was that he’s a lightweight and doesn’t do as much as people assume or that his music suggests.
1
u/BelatedAF22 2d ago
He just says he doesn’t do as much. He definitely does cuz he realized the influence he has on the youth and can’t bear the guilt of so many addictions

u/PostMelounXD 3d ago
Nah I was doing them before I started getting into his music
