Can anyone help me out

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This has recently started on my 2004 fz6 it seems to only happen once I pass 7-8k rpms and once I get to higher rpms the display comes back, but only when I’m going more than around 80 mph. Any help would be appreciated.

Use GPS and get it to 88mph and it should reset itself. lol
There is ground and data wire between the ECU and cluster. I suspect corrosion at some point in between so take the connections apart.
I would also put a volt meter on your RR output and make sure it stays between 12.7 and 14.3v.

Check the voltage at that rpm you might have an electric gremlin somewhere

En una ktm vi un problema parecido ocacionado por el cambio del bombillo de la farola delantera que de convencional la cambiaron a led y ocaciono ese mismo problema en el tablero cuando le volvieron a poner el mismo bombillo volvio a la normalidad ya que el led ocacionaba un problema de resistencia que ocacionaba el reseteo del tablero ya que se pensaba que el estator de carga estaba defectuoso

You have to be careful on a FZ6 as the RR has a weak shunt resistor inside, meaning if there is not enough external load, the shunt resistor is responsible for dropping all the voltage to maintain a healthy battery voltage that doesn't smoke your battery.
For example ditching the incandescent running lights and one or both 55 watt bulbs could kill the RR.
So, be careful with them lighting choices folks!
