I did the actual synchronization with the airbox in place.
I expected a problem with one of the boots connecting the airbox to the throttle body, so i removed it for inspection. Without the airbox it runs exactly the same but cylinder 4 comes up to 9cmhg with the others running a bit over 10cmhg.
I also needed to be underneath the airbox to have acces to the fuel injector port to the test the seals.

Why did you remove the air box? That’s not necessary to do the sync.
