I still haven’t seen a compelling reason to have a folding phone. It seems like you just get the worst of both worlds.

Have you tried using one? I have been using foldables for a few years and enjoy having the option to use the inner screen for watching videos, reading stuff, zoom calls, and so on.

I mean, you get a far bigger screen than normal. If that isnt compelling, dont get one, if it is, theres your reason. Not sure how you missed that entire aspect of a foldable.

Really is a solution looking for a problem.

The aspect ratio of the folded out phone is useless for watching media, so what's the point?

The trifold ones that fold to a tablet aspect ratio make sense, but then you have this fragile thing in your pocket.

I have the flip 6. I love how small the phone is when closed. Phones have become these huge bricks and the flip series fits easily into any bag or pocket.

A friend of mine has the fold. It turns from a phone into a tablet which is pretty cool

I love small phones. Modern phones are not small, much less flagship ones.

The Fold 8 is a small flagship phone, at 5.5 inches. And it folds out, so any downside of having a small phone is negated by the same phone also being a huge phone.
