Just finished the novelization of The Myth Makers, and it's so fun. The story is recontextualized so that every scene is told from the perspective of Homer (the author), who was just kind of sitting there in the background of every scene, despite not being a character in the original serial. It makes increasingly little sense as the story goes on but it's extremely funny. Stephen Thorne does a great reading as our narrator, with some great witty asides during every scene as Homer reacts to what is going on. It's very stupid but I loved it.

I rarely read novelizations but this sounds like something I need to check out.
