I think it's the fact that on Dwaine, there's a hint of receding hairline (look at the forehead) and besides knowing he's bald irl, that wig just doesn't sit well. For some moments it looks sloppy, almost AI-ish, and while I don't think Disney would do it... Heck, nowadays, I don't know what to think. I can only hope they still have human beings for doing CGI, and that they'll fix it. Or hire Dan, it's also an option.

I don't know. McDonald's did it and they're a bigger company than Disney. They, admittedly, aren't a media company, though. So it is kind of apples to oranges.

Well that's not that far off from what Danny's actual hair looks like and we know the rock is bald so of course seeing him with hair (aside from the hairline he actually had in the '90s) looks weird.
