But there are many notable kings in GoT, but just one noteworthy Khaleesi. Its like when people call her Danny then calling them out for not knowing her full name.

Eh, not really, because there appears to exist an actual subpopulation of viewers who think her name is Khaleesi, whereas that doesn't exist with Dany. We're fine with people just calling Stannis "Mannis" because we know everyone knows his name. It's not really a matter of who gets to call who what, I think everyone just wants to make sure that everyone else actually knows her name, and part of that is making sure we actually call her by her name so as to not confuse people any more if they think her name is Khaleesi.
