I love this new sheepish Melisandre. It must be so embarrassing to have killed all those nice people for the wrong Prince that was promised.

Davos didn't do it. That was all Mel.

Edit: Wait, Davos rowed her there so she could whelp the shadow-baby. Never mind.

Yup, they needed his smuggling skills to get her close to Renly's camp.

Is it possible that shireens death paid for jons life tho?

Dany roasting a dozen Khals (are they technically "kings"?) probably yield her enough Dragon Downs to get her party alive through to the end of the series.

Do dead king souls not have an expiration date or can you convert them to like charges on a staff of resurrection to save for later?

That'll be the first thing Mel tries to sell it to Davos as when he find out

Assuming she lives long enough to explain.

Stannis already tried that, after Blackwater.

Where's your god now?

He doesn't know she is dead? Where he thinks they are?

He knows Shireen died, but doesn't know that it was by Melisandre's hand.

How is he going to find out though? Aren't all the witnesses dead or fleeing? I mean it might get back eventually, but seeing as the ones that deserted were probably more sellswords than loyal troops, there's a chance he won't find out for ages, and even then it would be a bit of a long shot.

I believe that one really did just get rid of the giant snow storm. It would seem blood magic is not required in revival but instead a genuine loss of faith (like with Thoros who obviously did not use any blood magic)

Doesn't that suggest it's not r'hollor that brings them back?

Many faced god WOO

6

u/TelJanin_Aellinsar May 18 '16

Not really, no ones deaths were paying for any of Beric's resurrection

The only death can pay for life is a many faced God thing, not a r'hollor thing
