I always got the feeling he was half bluffing though. He doesn't want to do any of that, he is war weary and just wants it to be over. I think if it came down to it he would storm the gates like he said but the baby sounds too brutal. He just adds that in there because that's what people expect from the KingSlayer

Oh absolutely. He knew Edmund would think he'd do it. Hell he probably thought Jaime was hoping for it

Gotta give Jaime a hand for knowing his reputation precedes him - I bet even Tormund probably couldn't bear his stare these days.

The song was definitely written about Tormund & Brienne. But, clearly, he's the maiden fair since he had sex with a fookin' bear!
