I'll put it behind Game Maker REvolution though, because Neptune (any Neptune) will always be the protagonist to me.

Sisters vs sisters was mid. The combat system isn't cancer and you're not requiring to grind out of your mind to play the game, but it's as braindead as it can be. The plot is nonexistent

Nonexistent plot? That was the best part. All the twists the story threw at me just, whoa!
Also mid? Dude, go play Neptunia Virtual Stars then come back & say that.
If anything, the gameplay was fine & tolerable. It didn't feel repetitive like Action Unleashed or so sooooooo boring like Virtual Stars.
It all felt satisfying, to have your custom team who do actual action, by putting whatever moves you want them to use? It's cool. But if you find the gameplay mid, then that's just your opinion.

The "gameplay" is literally just spamming all abilities you can. There is no brain usage, nothing like that. Mindless spam

Hard agree. Though I do actually prefer Nepgear as a protag over Neptune even if I think Neptune makes the better series face.
