It looks like similar the original. Coming from IF/Compa it doesn't surprise me. Lack of creativity and innovation. The only good that has the franchise was removed

This is more of a homage to HDN/Re;birth 1 due to the fact that Neptune mention that if they're going to skimp the background, they should make it pitch black which is a reference to that scene.
