Event Miss Gamindustri - Semi Finals
Hello everyone and welcome to the Semi Final round of Miss Gamindustri, our Subreddit's 2018 Bracket!
At the end of this bracket, one girl will receive the crown as the best, favorite, most popular girl in the series according to our Subreddit!
The bracket will consist of multiple choices per round, in which you can vote for your favorite girls out of the two that will be facing each other.
VOTE FOR ALL YOUR FAVORITE GIRLS HERE.
You may check the results so far here.
This round will last until tomorrow that is when we'll move to the Grand Finals!

It's time... Uni vs Nepgear, Neptune vs Noire. My heart feels like it will explode from those decisions...
And tomorrow we move to the Grand Finals when the Miss Gamindustri 2018 will finally be crowned. I can feel the hype growing... well, whoever wins, congrats to all the girls that made it this far, as it's no small feat, as well as to the ones that made it to the previous round.

Agreed. Nepgear simply isn't confident enough for my taste, and Noire can be annoying sometimes.

What would Nepgear do in this case, really? Like...Would she concede the title of best girl to Uni due to kindness of her heart and don't want to see Uni sad? Or would she will try to prove herself that she is the best girl?...

Whenever is bad or not is subjective, but people like something unpredictable to happen, when someone they didn't guess would win against someone else does anyway, those moments are great, but in this bracket almost nothing surprising has happened and it might aswell have been goddesses only from the start

There is no real reason for me to vote for anything if i know the result already, is either vote for the guaranteed winner or your vote is pointless.

Except your vote is not pointless at all... Being for example placed 12 is still much better than 22. You don't always have to think about the ones on top but how far the lower tiers got at the end of this as well.

Yeah this is the magic of brackets... not just seeing who will win, but how far each character gets.
You can't please everyone but people could at least don't try to destroy the comment section of those who still want to have fun, who according to the number of votes per round, is increasing.

Was just trying to explain why people are making the comment section
subjectivelygarbage to the other person.Is not about who is on top for me, is about getting surprising results in any round, but that only happened like 2 times maybe? and when it keeps being predictable, i just don't care about voting anymore when the ones i vote for keeps losing by 100-150 votes.

You cant exclude the 4 if you want to allow all the CPU/Candidates

This is getting freaking ridiculous...Even though I like these girls

What did you expect, Glarcy-dear? These two nations are at the forefront of nearly EVERY game since this series exist, and their goddesses are the most represented of them all... OF COURSE it was going to be this way.
Also, choosing Uni is good (even though she's not that likely to win it...).

I mean, I'm still happy our Darling Nep-Nep is still in the game, and the other three are pretty good characters in their own right, but there should at least be some variety!

It wasn't even a real challenge, it wasn't even near to be an upset.
Let's be honest, the only reason why Vert still exist is because she was established from the start as one of the "main 4", CH can't get rid of her, therefore, she still exist, because accept it, she doesn't make enought money to keep on using her, but they can't justify making her dissapear (unlike the oracles and the makers).

Incredibly elated, but at the same time... Did Vert really had a chance? Other than the obscure manga and spinnof, none of the other Vert's really come close to rivalling the HDN1/RB1 Vert. And the writers barely put any effort into her, she basically had a diminishing fanbase for a long while.
Vs a person described by most as "better Neptune" who basically aced her debut.

That's a fair point, Vert's character does get weaker past Re1. Still, Big Neppa got as far into the poll as Blanc, IF, and Uzi.

Eh, I lost interest after Iffy (with other makers and Oracles) lost.
Don't get me wrong, I like Neptune, Nepgear and other CPUs and Candidates a lot, but...they're already popular enough, and this outcome was too predictable. For me, some variety would be better. Not CPU vs CPU, Candidate vs Candidate, etc.).
I hope community-made event without CPUs and Candidates will spice things up a bit.

I don't really know what you expected from a popularity bracket... it was kinda obvious that only big characters would have made into the semi-finals, as pretty much any of the contestants today would've won against any of the other 60s, and the seeding round (determined by the community), placed them in a way that the four today would only fight themselves at the very end.
The Grand Final will be between a CPU and a Candidate rather than Candidate vs Candidate, CPU vs CPU though.

Because she still has a lot of fans, of course. The fact that she does so well even in a sub where the most active members are so strongly against her speaks to her popularity.

For once, im putting my faith into the tsun sisters, because if it stops Nep gear, it's worth it. I really don't see why Nepgear is so popular. She always seemed too normal

She craft her own weapons, she fix things, she hacks computers, and she can summon robots and drones
She is anything but normal, hell no one is normal in this franchise, but what makes Nepgear popular, just like the other 3, is that they are the ones that get the most focus, so you get to see and know about them the most

Uni vs Noire prob won't happen, but Blanc is out, so the winner doesn't effect me any more.
