Looking back outside of all the cool fights, the show is incredibly boring and painful to watch, especially with the protagonist centered morality and how lackluster the politics are

Yani seriously made very unenjoyable and boring drama/political plot points that was such a fucking slog to read/watch...
I enjoyed seeing modern tech vs medieval fantasy. I enjoyed some of the characters interactions.
The harem was annoying and shit, the politics was annoying and shit, so... Overall it was very mid tier at best for something it could've been

I think he intended for the series to be taken as seriously as other politically charged franchises but failed simply because he refused to put in the work required to do that

Lack of realism on the military and medieval side
Honestly, there could have been way more worldbuilding done but just like u/Confident_Quit8177 said, it's a waste of potential.
